OVERVIEW
Gin Rummy is a classic game that focuses on strategic thinking and requires players to arrange their cards into sets and runs. The main objective of the game is to group cards of the same rank or consecutive cards of the same suit. By removing these combinations from your hand, you score points. The game ends when a player reaches the target score, which is typically set at 100 points.
GAMEPLAY
If you are new to Gin Rummy, the goal is to minimize the number of unmatched cards in your hand, also known as "deadwood," or ideally get rid of them completely. The points in your remaining deadwood become your opponent's score. If your opponent reaches 100 points before you do, you lose the game. On the other hand, if you manage to reach 100 points before your opponent does, you emerge as the winner.
